“Any story I’ve felt instantly connecting always turned out to be a blockbuster only. Waltair Veerayya is one such story that I got a hunch after one and half hour narration, that it is going to be a super hit” said Megastar Chiranjeevi at the pre-release event of “Waltair Veerayya” but that line kept many wondering about the rumours that surfaced during the making of the movie. However, Megastar himself clarified.
Apparently, when Veerayya is in the production pipeline for the last two years, it has come out that Megastar Chiru one day didn’t like the script of that particular scene and even stopped the shoot. Then came another rumour that Bobby and his writers including Kona Venkat are reworking certain aspects of the script by giving break to the shoot. Many felt that these are just rumours being spread about the film, but now, Megastar Chiru himself confirmed them.
“Even though I’ve raised some doubts during shooting about certain logic, Bobby took them positively and used to take 2 hours on the set to narrate me a better version after working out with his writers’ team including Kona Venkat. Any director who never likes his story fully and keeps on improving it all the time, is going to succeed big time” said Chiranjeevi, thus adding truth to all the gossip that came out about director Bobby during the making of this film.
However, in the end, Chiru said big words about the director anyway. “ Bobby is not just a hardcore fan like many of the out there, he is a great craftsman and dedicated worker who carves wonderful films. I’ve seen a storyteller, writer, screenplay writer and director in Bobby, and only after those four experts, I’ve seen a fan in Bobby. I have so many fans, and those who work hard like Bobby and those who love hard work, I’m their fan. Today I’ve become Bobby’s fan” he articulated.
