One of the biggest disasters of Megastar Chiranjeevi in recent times is none other than Acharya which was directed by Koratala Siva. After the flop show of that mega starrer, Chiru commented in a couple of movie events about the need for directors to understand what works, and prepare scripts much earlier but not on the sets. While he later clarified that his words are not intended about Koratala Siva, many didn’t believe it.
Anyway, everyone is waiting for Chiranjeevi to come up with Waltair Veerayya such that they could see what the Megastar will do at the box office as he is pretty confident of the film and most importantly he heaped tonnes of praises on Bobby Kolli for being a perfect director for the producers.
Now that Veerayya is minting huge at the box office, one could say that Chiranjeevi is sort of coming out of Acharya blues with Veerayya’s amazing performance on Sankranthi 2023 eve.
Now that Chiranjeevi proved a point, it is the turn of Koratala Siva to make it bigger and better with #NTR30. Forget about Chiru’s remarks or anything, Koratala lost his charm among the audience as a writer and filmmaker with Acharya as that film turned out to be the ridiculous and weak work with no exciting scenes and a racy screenplay.
Until the director of films like Mirchi, Janatha Garage and Bharat Ane Nenu proves again, his status of hit-filmmaker will be kept pending.
