Nani’s Dasara 3rd Single: Folk Melody

Natural Star Nani will be seen in a never seen before rugged character as Dharani in his next outing Dasara. He played the role of daily labor at Singareni Coal Mines, while Keerthy Suresh essayed his love interest. The first two songs of the movie received a tremendous response and the makers came up with the third single.

The third song Chamkeela Angi composed by Santosh Narayanan is a folk melody for every wedding season. The composer didn’t do anything fancy about the song, in terms of the usage of instrumentation. The orchestration is truly entrenched. Ram Miriyala and Dhee together rendered it enchantingly. Kasarla Shyam’s lyrics are the best.

The song is actually about a wife and husband complaining about each other at a wedding. While the wife says her husband used to be very gentle initially, he became irresponsible now. On the other hand, the husband complains that he became an alcoholic because of her arrogant nature.

The rustic looks of Nani and the natural beauty of Keerthy are wonderfully shot in a realistic setting. It gives an extra punch visually, even though there is nothing fancy or super-rich display. Overall, the composition, the vocals, and the presentation are impressive.

Dasara marks the directorial debut of Srikanth Odela, while Sudhakar Cherukuri is producing it on a huge scale. The movie is scheduled for release on the 30th of this month.
