A Hundred-Year Difference Between Spy And Devil?

Nikhil’s Spy teaser was released the other day. The teaser is receiving good response all over and his previous movie Karthikeya 2 is helping its reach in other languages too. Meanwhile, there seems to be trouble for Spy and also another movie that appears to be having a similar story backdrop.

Spy deals with the secrets behind Subhash Chandra Bose’s death and how the spy unravels the conspiracies that were around it. Kalyan Ram’s Devil was announced long back and the story of Devil also is heard to be revolving around Subhash Chandra Bose’s death mystery and Kalyan Ram will be seen as a British secret agent.

Since Spy will be released first, it is the Devil that has to face the hurdles if at all the stories are alike. When Nikhil was asked about the same during the teaser release, he says the stories of Devil and Spy are completely different and the respective directors already discussed about it.

Nikhil promised that the audience will enjoy both films. He further revealed that Devil was set somewhere in the 1920s whereas the Spy is from current-day modern thriller. So, the stories of the Devil and Spy are hundred years apart from each other. There could be at least one common point in both films that one predicts it while the other one might prove it happened. We have to wait and see both films to know them.
