Beautiful anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj had her humble beginnings on TV, and she chose the ‘glamorous’ path to become a star on the small screen. But with time, the idea of becoming a diva on the silver screen consumed her so she quit her lucrative and happening TV career, to give more space for the silver screen.
Guess what, while Anasuya wants to do roles like a Vijayasanthi from Karthavyam or some action-oriented female-centric projects, they are not working out for her. After her portrayal in a strong author-backed character Rangamathha in Rangasthalam that has glamour dose as well as character-arc, she’s being offered similar ones only.
Even in the recently released trailer of the film ‘Vimanam’, she appeared in a similar sultry character of a prostitute with spicy looks, thus surprsing many. But to wipe off that image, Anasuya tried her best, including not posting spicy images on Instagram, avoiding TV acts for some time and much more. Did that work?
For reasons unknown, Anasuya’s solo acts as a female lead are not working out and her spicy sidekick roles in movies are earning her only similar types of roles. On the other hand, to grab attention and get back into the spotlight, her latest musings on the gram include a lip lock picture with her husband, and a bikini tease video though her looks don’t suit it. At the same time, her recent stint to provoke the fans of a sensational hero has failed to click.
In order to make career as a star character artist or anything, maybe Anasuya should tried more auditions and meet directors for roles, rather limiting herself to social media to create buzz.
