‘Animal’ Delay: 35 Songs Need To Be Worked Out

Other day it came out that master filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest film “Animal” backed out from the August release race. Many thought that the film’s output is something that hasn’t excited the makers and hence they chose to postpone it. But the Arjun Reddy maker clarified that there is more than what anyone thinks behind the delay.

Apparently, the makers of Animal are planning to release the film in five languages simultaneously with Hindi and Telugu being the major ones. There are nearly 7 songs in the movie and all the songs need to be dubbed into five languages, which according to Sandeep Reddy Vanga translates to making 35 new songs.

“I don’t want to give that dubbed feel, but what the film to be connected to all the regional languages we are releasing in. We have to work on lyrics, lyrical videos, native feelers and everything. This is a small example and there are many more such post-production things that are making us unable to come on that date. It’s purely a quality-related call”, he said.

But then, there is no need to get confused about the new date, as Sandeep announced that Animal will hit cinemas on December 1st. Looks like they have found a mega date where there are no big releases around in both Bollywood and Tollywood for at least two weeks.

Animal stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in the leads.
