Virushka is building a farm house on 8 acres of land, Not Cricket Pitch

The Virushka couple, made up of Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli, have properties worth more than 1000 crores. They added a very valuable asset to their account last year. This special asset is an 8-acre piece of land in a beautiful spot called Alibaug, which they bought in 2022. They have started building farmhouse on this land now. The land is in a pretty place called Zirad-Alibaug Hills.

The land is quite big, about 20000 square feet. Just recently, on Sunday (August 13), Virat personally supervised the work happening in Alibaug. This fancy farmhouse is being designed by the architects Majumdar Bravo. They have gotten all the permissions they need from the local authorities to build it.

It is reported that in September last year, the celebrity couple Virushka spent around Rs.19.24 crores and also deposited Rs.1.15 crores to the government exchequer for this land. The transaction was completed by his brother Vikas Kohli. They are Rs. 3.35 lakh stamp duty was also deposited. 

On Tuesday, Virat Kohli dispelled speculations regarding the construction of a cricket pitch at his farmhouse in Alibaug. Kohli utilized his social media platform to definitively clarify that neither he nor his Bollywood celebrity spouse had any plans to install a cricket pitch on their property. Through an Instagram story, Kohli emphatically labeled the reports about the pitch as “false.”

Apart from Anushka and Virat, other famous couples like Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri also own properties in Alibaug.
