The first biggest rumour is postponement itself and it is about the new date of the film that is wondering everyone. Some say it is January 2024, some say it is going to be November 2023 for Diwali itself. They say that Salaar wants to capitalise on big weekends, and that’s why they are talking to big production houses that are in the release fray to finalise the new date.
Second rumour is about the cause of the postponement. In fact, some distributors were told that the pending Visual FX work led to this situation and as director Prashant Neel is demanding high-quality work, definitely it needs another good month to deliver the needful. Even Prabhas’ Adipurush got postponed the same way due to the CG works and that has hurt fans big time. Another thing regarding the cause is that they say some pending payments from OTT streaming giants and other involved stakeholders have led to this situation.
And the third rumour is that Prabhas wants some scenes of Salaar to be altered which is why a creative difference has erupted during his recent trip to Bangalore.
