‘Dear Devarakonda, We Lost 8 Crores With WFL’, Asks Noted Producer

Tollywood heartthrob Vijay Devarakonda is a magnanimous person. He often comes up with various charitable activities and showers unexpected gifts on commoners. Many a time in the past, Vijay’s philanthropic deeds won plaudits from all quarters. Earlier this year, he once again showcased his generous heart by sponsoring a Manali trip for 100 persons.

On the eve of his latest release Kushi, Vijay Devarakonda announced that he will gift 1 lakh each to 100 families as a kind gesture from his earnings towards acting in this romantic entertainer. Vijay said he wants to share his happiness, success and salary with his supporters. This is a great initiative which received unanimous applause from everyone.

As Vijay gears up to launch this initiative, he received an unexpected request from a noted producer and distributor of Tollywood. Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures banner snapped the theatrical rights of Vijay Devarakonda’s World Famous Lover which released in 2020. The film failed to impress moviegoers and ended as a box office debacle.

Now, the distribution house claims that they lost 8 Crores because of World Famous Lover. They are now requesting Vijay to compensate them for their loss as he is donating 1 crore to needy families with a big heart. They tagged Vijay Devarakonda and made a crafty request as below –

‘ Dear @TheDeverakonda ,

We lost 8 crs in the distribution of #WorldFamousLover, but no one responded over it!! Now as you are donating 1CR to the families with your big heart, Kindly requesting & Hoping for you to save us and our Exhibitors & Distributors families also 🤗❤️ Thank you Yours Abhishek Pictures.

#humanity #Love #empathy’

It may be true that the distribution house might have incurred losses with World Famous Lover. But, it is absolutely uncalled for to seek compensation from the hero after three years just because he announced a noble deed to the needy families. It remains to be seen how Vijay responds to their sly tweet.
