‘Oora Mass’ Behind Jawan’s Mania!

“Jawaan,” which has been setting records at the box office with sensational collections, continues to display remarkable aggression in its performance. Normally, an India-Pakistan One Day cricket match would keep most people indoors, either postponing or completing urgent tasks before the match. However, “Jawaan” seems to have defied this trend. Despite the knowledge that the cricket match was scheduled to start at 3 PM, many theaters across regions consistently reported houseful shows. This phenomenon extends from the northern regions to the Telugu states.

On its third day, “Jawaan” achieved yet another milestone by becoming the highest-grossing film in Bollywood history, raking in an impressive Rs 68 Crore, as officially announced by Red Chillies, the production company.

The film’s collections are expected to soar even higher on Sunday. Social media platforms are buzzing with fans celebrating their experiences in Jawaan theaters, with videos showcasing their enthusiasm and enjoyment.

The question of whether this surge in popularity is due to Shah Rukh Khan’s influence is not one-sided. Shah Rukh Khan has ventured into films with softer themes and unconventional content like “Zero,” “Jab Harry Met Sejal,” and “Dilwale,” which resulted in less favorable outcomes.

However, he seems to have tapped into his original energy with his “Pathan.” followed by ‘Jawan’. He appears to have realized that his stardom can flourish by targeting a broader Oora-mass audience, considering the current era of hero-centric and high-octane films like “KGF,” “Vikram,” and “Jailer.” By aligning himself with this trend, he seems to be on the right track. While “Dunki” may not follow the same formula, it will be interesting to see how it fares.
