Director Virinchi Varma, known for his successful film ‘Uyyala Jampala,’ is making a comeback with his upcoming release titled ‘Jithender Reddy.’ This political drama is being produced by Muduganti Ravinder Reddy of Muduganti Creation. The director is trying to create a hype around the movie, by hiding his hero.
The team came up with a video the other day in which the makers hid the face of the protagonist. The video gave a glimpse into the film’s themes and story. Virinchi Varma’s last film is Majnu, starring Nani in the lead role. The romantic drama ended up as an average grosser at the box office.
The talented filmmaker shifted his gear this time for a political drama and he is cleverly trying to garner attention to his film by hiding his hero and building anticipation around it.
‘Jithender Reddy’ delves into real-life incidents that occurred in a Telangana village during the 1980s, promising to capture the socio-political realities and themes of that era authentically.
The film boasts cinematography by VS Gnanasekar and music composed by renowned Malayalam music director Gopi Sundar.
The makers of ‘Jithender Reddy’ will unveil the First Look on September 21.
