Talk: ‘Oo Antava’ Singer Failing To Repeat The Magic

Some singers make their debut with superhit songs and then continue to rise from there. The likes of Jonita Gandhi are one such example, and a couple of years one singer who got the whole nation’s attention is Indravathi Chouhan, who has song the Telugu version “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava” from Pushpa, which featured star heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu in her spiciest best avatar.

Singer Indravathi Chauhan, who happens to be the younger sister of Mangli, got a plethora of offers after the super successful song from the movie Pushpa. For that sex appeal in her tone, and the way she teased youths with her rendering of the lines ‘Oo Ooh’ in the Devi Sri Prasad composed song, she became a sought after one. But what next? Apparently, she has sung a few songs and the latest ones like ‘Touching Touching’ from Karthi’s Japan and Leelammo from Vaishnav Tej’s Aadikeshava are also sung by her. However, these songs are missing the magic that was earlier found in Oo Antava.

Whether the composers are failing to deliver songs that would present Indravathi’s voice in the best way, or she is not able to bring that different flavour to the song is something for music directors to answer. However, fans who liked Indravathi’s voice are disappointed with the fact that her magic is not coming out.
