Kota Bommali PS’: The title song is about the election ‘jathara’

The Teaser for ‘Kota Bommali PS’ was released recently ahead of the film’s theatrical release on November 24.GA 2 Pictures is working with director Teja Marni for this political survival thriller.

On Saturday, an interesting song from the thriller arrived on YouTube. The title track, coming with a folksy flavour, is a nod to the Uttarandhra sub-culture. Rambabu Gosala’s lyrics are satirical and meaningful. The infusion of two bits of conversations involving Murali Sharma (as a casteist politician) and a calculated voter is the icing on the cake.

Ranjin Raj’s tuning is foot-tapping. Above all, the mood resembles a ‘Jathara’ feel. “Every year, ‘Jathara’ takes place in Kota Bommali. This year, it is the turn of the election ‘Jathara’,” the makers said, unveiling the title track.

Srikanth Meka and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are the primary protagonists in this ensemble film co-starring Rahul Vijay, Murali Sharma and Shivani Rajasekhar. Producers Bunny Vass and Vidya Koppineedi of GA2 Pictures are planning a major release, having ensured top-class production values and a strong technical team.

The film’s teaser has been warmed up to by the audience.
