Buzz: Hanu-Man To Cash On The ‘Ayodhya’ Fever?

After the issue has burned the country for years, after bombings, after court cases and after lots of hurdles, finally Supreme Court has given a verdict in the sensational case, and a temple is being built in Ayodhya right now. But what has this to do with the film “Hanu-Man” which is getting ready to hit cinemas on January 12th? Here’s an inside talk about the same.

In fact, Ayodhya’s new Lord Rama temple which is being constructed in what is believed to be the birthplace of the Hindu deity, is supposed to be inaugurated on January 24th. Though there is no official confirmation about the same, talk is everywhere that the temple’s construction will be wrapped by the end of 2023, and it will be inaugurated in 2024 January itself. In that case, the Hanu-Man team feels that their film will be trending everywhere as Lord Rama will be the trending topic in the whole of India and other parts of the world by January 1st week.

However, to cash on Lord Rama’s Ayodhya Temple fever, Hanu-Man team is said to be sticking to the January 12th release date, and they are hoping that the film will have a long run due to that factor. Also, the team of Hanu-Man is heading to Ayodhya as well to promote the movie big time, and that might come in handy for them in terms of attracting Bollywood viewership for the movie. But then, even if there is a huge #Hindutva trend across the country, Prabhas’ Adipurush doesn’t work when the content is not up to the mark. So it all depends on how Prashanth Varma has carved out the film like.
