Hi Nanna Is Venky’s Film From That Time: Nani

Natural Star Nani and Victory Venkatesh’s respective films Hi Nanna and Saindhav will hit the screens in a gap of one month. While Shouryuv directorial is coming on December 7th, Sailesh Kolanu’s film will grace the cinemas on January 13th for Sankranthi. Both the actors took part in a candid interview session.

While Venkatesh was the obvious choice for family movies once, Nani has become the best option of late. Nani feels Venkatesh would have done if this movie was made a few years ago. “Hi Nanna may be your (Venkatesh) film from that time, and I’ve done it now.”

Venkatesh informs there is some fear in the beginning for any actor to do emotional movies. “Many are not that comfortable doing crying scenes. I earlier did action movies. But the shift of doing family entertainers happened with Prema.”

The actor appreciated Nani for convincing the audiences with his emotional acting. “Hi Nanna trailer is looking amazing. I loved the dialogues and every scene. It’s good to see a ful-fledged warm and emotional movie after a long time.”

On the other hand, Nani reveals that there’s more than what it was not shown in Saindhav’s teaser. “The teaser gave the impression that Saindhav will be full-on action entertainer. But the emotions will blow your minds.”

Venkatesh says emotional action thriller is a good combination. “We made Saindhav in a very simple and understandable way. There’s no confusion at all. There’s lovely bonding with daughter. In fact, I was looking for such a new-age action thriller, with emotions. It will be fresh for the audience.”

Venkatesh said that he loved Gaju Bomma song in Hi Nanna. About father-daughter bond, he stated, “For daughters, they might get their prince, but father is always their king. He is the best guy in the world for her.”
