Defamation case filed against Chiru and Trisha

Noted Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan shocked the entire film fraternity when he made unsavory comments against top actress Trisha in one of his recent media interactions last month. Trisha immediately lashed out at his repulsive remarks through a post on her X ( Twitter) account.

Khan said that he was disappointed with not getting a chance to act in a rape scene with Trisha in Leo. These derogatory comments received a severe backlash from all quarters as many celebs condemned his sexist remarks. Among those who took a swipe at him were Megastar Chiranjeevi, Radhika Sarath Kumar, Khusboo, Lokesh Kanagaraj and many others.

Now, Mansoor Ali Khan filed a defamation case against Chiru, Trisha and Khushboo for their defamatory remarks about him in the Madras High Court. In his suit, Khan said all three of them damaged his image by making vilifying statements without verifying or ascertaining the veracity of his statements.

Khan defended himself by saying that he had not uttered any wrong statement against any persons personally, but merely commented on the negative shades of the character he played in the film. He sought the intervention of the court and render him justice.

It may be noted that Nungambakkam Police registered a case against actor Mansoor Ali Khan on November 22nd for his derogatory comments under sections 354A and 509 of IPC.
