Reports are coming that the likes of Prabhas and Mahesh Babu, who are actually busy with the shooting of their respective movies, Project K and Guntur Kaaram, are said to have refused the idea of meeting Netflix CEO at this moment. Because their films are being carved at a brisk pace, and they don’t have the luxury of taking half a day out from their schedules. However, they really couldn’t refuse the meeting, and took time to meet the CEO. Many are wondering, what will Netflix boss achieve by these photo-ops and scoops about the same in the media.
In case Ted Sarandos is meeting top producers, then we could expect that maybe he is doing a film acquisition deal with them. And usually, such deals are done in secret. But if the Netflix boss is continuously meeting top heroes and posting pictures with them, many are wondering what is the use of doing that. Those stars are not doing any special Netflix films or any web series for the OTT platforms, and they don’t call the shots regarding the OTT sales of their own films.
