Annjanadri Is Part Of Akhand Bharat: Prasanth Varma

Hanu-Man, director Prasanth Varma’s first film from Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, will arrive in cinemas for Sankranthi. The makers released the film’s theatrical trailer which got a humongous response in all languages in no time.

Hero Teja Sajja thanked one and all for the huge response to the promotional material of the movie. “If we follow our dharma and stand for our dharma, if we do anything honestly, then everything will lead to success. I have worked hard for this film. When we started the film, I never thought that we would get extraordinary love.”

He revealed that the story is about an underdog who becomes a superhero with the grace of Lord Hanuman. We had many fears in the beginning and had obstacles during the making. Like how Lord Shri Ram crossed the sea to reach Sita, we worked hard and honestly for Hanu-Man. Prashanth’s name is heard all over India. Prashanth Neel for Salaar, Prashanth Varma for Hanu-Man. It is a full Paisa Vasool film with no obscenity.”

Director Prasanth Varma said his producer Niranjan Reddy encouraged him to make a superhero film when some others asked him to make typical commercial potboilers. “Hanuman is our favorite God and a superhero. When I thought of building an original Indian superhero universe based on Itihasas, I wanted to start it with Hanuman.

Hanu-Man is not a big movie, but our efforts are big. We made a great movie on a limited budget. Hanuman is the only star for us. He is a pan-world star. Someone told me that there’s a force that drive me to make the movie, and I feel it’s Hanuman. Is Hanu-Man there in the movie or not is a suspense and who played it is also a suspense. Anjanadri in Hanu-Man is set in Akhanda Bharat. It’s a surreal fictional world. You will see the next parts of Akhand Bharat in the next series.”

The director clarified on releasing the movie for Sankranti. “Even before anyone announced, we announced to release our movie on 12th. Since we already did agreements for Hindi, we can’t change the date. Hanu-Man indeed is a festival movie. It’s not a movie that requires huge openings in 1st week. It will run in theatres for a long time. We start as a small film, but it will grow big like Hanuman.”

The director also revealed that there will be a total of 1500 VFX shots in the movie.
