A Big Task Set For Raviteja and Ram!

Well, the whole of theatres associations in India are actually crying that when Centre is not worried about letting everyone into shopping malls, why they are worried about cinema theatres and made the 50%-occupancy rule compulsory? But then, AP and Telangana’s theatre owners clarified to State Govts that they are ready to open theatres as State has to give approval though Centre said okay.

Just in case if theatres in the two Telugu states are re-opened after almost a 7-month shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will audiences rush to the screens to catch up their favourite stars? To test the waters, the producers of Ram’s RED and Raviteja’s Krack, who have denied to sell their film to OTT platforms due to the low-prices they offered them, are now rushing to lock theatres.

As a Dasara treat, along with some other small movies, these biggies are actually coming to the theatre to entertain the Telugu audience. The turn-up of audience to theatres will now prove if people are still scared about coronavirus or they could dare it by following the precautions. If people really come to theatres, then surely the Film Industry will breathe a sigh of relief.

On the other hand, some producers who made agreements with OTT platforms are now re-modifying their agreements such that they could have a theatrical release as well.
