Golden Globe Awards 2024: Oppenheimer Dominates

2023 was a memorable year for Indians and Telugu audiences for RRR’s Naatu Naatu winning the Golden Globes Award before winning the Oscars in the Best Original Song category. The 81st Golden Globe Awards event happened last Sunday and it was reigned by one film, Oppenheimer!

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer took away five wins including the prize for best motion picture drama. Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan won best director for the movie. Cillian Murphy who played the scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, was named best actor in a drama. Oppenheimer’s Ludwig Goransson won the award for Best Original Score in a motion picture. Oppenheimer’s Robert Downey Jr won the best supporting actor award.

‘Poor Things’, a feminist reimagining of the Frankenstein tale was named best motion picture, musical, or comedy.
