The homegrown entertainer with a blend of devotion and action struck a chord with all sections of moviegoers after its release on January 11th and dominated the ticket windows during the festival season.
Even after completing ten days, Hanuman is refusing to slow down at the box office as the second-weekend collections in all areas look very impressive. The film already raked in 150 Crores gross worldwide and marching towards more milestones in the coming days. Unlike big-ticket films these days which look to mint strong revenues in the first two weeks before slowing down, Hanuman has been gaining strong momentum with each passing day as it targets a long run.
In North India, Hanuman is set to breach the 30 Crores mark and surpass the lifetime collections of Karthikeya-2 which was previously one of the biggest hits in Bollywood among medium-budget Telugu films. In USA, Hanuman has screamed past the $ 4 million mark by second Saturday and set sights on hitting the $ 5 million in its full run. The total overseas gross including other countries has already touched the $ 5 million mark.
In Nizam, the biggest territory of Telugu States, the theatrical run of Hanuman is simply mind-blowing as it had the single biggest day on its second Saturday. The film is likely to notch up 30 Crores in this region alone. In all other remaining territories, the film is extending its phenomenal run.
As there are no notable releases in the next two weeks, Hanuman is all set to emerge as an epic blockbuster at the box office.
