Sr Heroine Took Sanyas At Mahakumbh

Mamta Kulkarni, a Sr Bollywood actress from the 1990s, has taken a completely different path in life, away from films. She has chosen to live a life of renunciation and has now become a Sadhvi (a female monk).

After taking a long break from the industry, Mamta visited the Kinnar Akhara in Prayagraj during the Mahakumbh festival on Friday morning. There, she met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi, received blessings, and marked another milestone in her spiritual journey.

Before stepping away from the film industry, Mamta was also seen in a couple of Telugu movies, including Premasikharam and Donga Police, where she earned recognition for her performances. However, today, she is focused on her spiritual path.

Mamta was seen wearing saffron clothes, which symbolize her new identity as a Hindu sadhu. She wore a Rudraksh necklace and carried a saffron-colored bag. A video of her in this new look quickly spread on social media, attracting attention from both her fans and people in spiritual circles.
