‘You Play A Villain So I Can Be A HERO’

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut scored a major victory against the Shiva Sena sarkar in Maharashtra over the demolition of her office. As we know Kangana’s office in Pali Hill, Mumbai was demolished by the BMC on September 9th and this is in response to Kangana’s rhetoric rant against the Bollywood.

Challenging this demolition, Kangana has approached the Bombay High Court. After two and half months of prolonged hearing, the Bombay High Court called this action of BMC, nothing but malice of law. Also the High Court has squashed the order of BMC’s notices to Kangana and is likely to compensate Kangana for damaging her property. However, the court also took pot-shots at Kangana who is very vocal on social media. The court advised Kangana to be watchful while commenting on sensitive issues.

As the verdict came out, Kangana was super happy and taking to her Twitter she wrote, “When individual stands against the government and wins, it’s not the victory of the individual but it’s the victory of the democracy. Thank you everyone who gave me courage and thanks to those who laughed at my broken dreams. Its only cause you play a villain so I can be a HERO.”

The BMC demolished Kangana’s office citing 14 violations and they noticed these during inspection on September 5th. A day later, the executive engineer of BMC made another inspection and on September 8th, the BMC pasted notice to Kangana’s office to provide documented evidence within 24 hours. As Kangana failed, BMC demolished a part of Kangana’s office with a massive police force in place.
