Sri Venkateswara Creations, one of Telugu cinema’s most established banners, has delivered a steady stream of family entertainers over the years. The production house has seen a mix of hits and setbacks recently, and unlike its peers, has not ventured aggressively into large-scale or pan-India projects.
Speaking to Gulte at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, co-producer Shirish shared a clear picture of the production’s upcoming slate. Their film Sankranthiki Vasthunnam was screened on the festival’s closing day under the Indian Panorama section.
According to Shirish, 2026 will be a big year for the banner, with at least six releases lined up and nine films currently in production. Venu Yeldandi’s Yellamma, featuring Devi Sri Prasad in the lead, is set for release next year. Vijay Deverakonda and Ravi Kiran Kola’s Rowdy Janardhana, now on floors, is being planned for a Dusshera 2026 release.
Ashish’s Dethadi is also slated for release in the same year. Akshay Kumar has signed on for the Hindi remake of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, adding a significant Bollywood project to the lineup.
Pawan Kalyan’s next film with Sri Venkateswara Creations is expected to release in 2026. Vamsi Paidipally’s Hindi directorial debut with Salman Khan is set to go on floors soon, with a release targeted for next year as well.
With several Telugu and Hindi projects moving simultaneously, Sri Venkateswara Creations is preparing for one of its busiest and most ambitious years yet.
