Andhra King Taluka Is One Of A Kind Film: Ram

Ram Pothineni pinned high hopes on Andhra King Taluka. Although the movie was released at the wrong time, it still received unanimous positive reviews. The film opened on a decent note, and the makers believe the collections will grow from the second week.

Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers affirmed that the film was made with a lot of love by everyone. “We are happy with the appreciation it’s receiving. But the end-of-November release turned out to be a big minus. We strongly believe the collections will pick up from next weekend. Ram worked very hard for this movie.”

Ram Pothineni made an interesting comment, saying they were aware the film would see only decent collections in the first few days. “This is a movie made for more people to watch. It was released at the end of November due to certain circumstances. I promoted it more than I usually do because the story has a personal connection for me. We often see different emotions in films, but this movie explores an untold emotion unique to Telugu cinema- the star-fan relationship. In the end, it portrays a human emotion very honestly.

“I am scared of November. Even Masala, the movie I did with Venkatesh, turned out to be a flop. I respect the audience. There is talk that TFI failed this movie, but I believe TFI will never fail anyone. I hope the collections grow from this week. We must believe that such honest stories will also find a place in Telugu cinema. Producers must support them. Telugu cinema deserves people like Mahesh Babu. Although he was influenced by people around him to include some mass or elevation scenes, I wanted the narrative to remain honest. I wanted the audience to see Sagar in me, not Ram.”

“Bhagyashri Borse is a rare breed. Though seen as a glamour doll, she can deliver strong performances and promotes the film exceptionally well. Andhra King Taluka is a one-of-a-kind film. Movies like this may not come again.”
