Sivakarthikeyan is currently busy with the promotions of his next film, Parashakthi. As part of the promotional campaign, the team decided to offer a time-travel ride to the audience.
The team unveiled a grand exhibition called World of Parashakti at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai, showcasing the many period sets created for the film.
The makers opted for a new promotional strategy to capture the attention of mainstream audiences, rather than engaging them in regular events that are often boring. The events like these would bring more attention and involve the audience very much in the film even before its release. If this strategy works out, more filmmakers would follow suit.
The film unit recreated 1960s props and sets, some of which have now been re-created or rescaled into installations in the exhibition. The properties include: a radio station, a vintage car, a steam locomotive, and others.
The team also unveiled a special behind-the-scenes video narrating how the many looks and costumes of the lead characters were designed. The exhibition will be open to public viewing until December 21.
