Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sankranti release Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu received a big boost to the hype just at the right time before it hit the screens on January 12th, thanks to the whistle-worthy instant banger song ‘Hook Step’ which was unveiled on Wednesday.
Chiranjeevi’s energetic dance moves coupled with his vintage grace and effortless swag while giving a touch of contemporary feel in terms of music and lyrics have turned the song into big rage within minutes of its release. Not just Mega fans but all sections of audiences quickly started raving about Chiru’s flawless charm and style in the song.
The response for ‘Hook Step’ lyrical has been unanimous and resounding as social media is getting flooded with countless edits recollecting the memories of Chiru’s signature style dance moves from his iconic songs. Bheems Ceciroleo composed a groovy tune and Baba Sehgal amplified it with his inimitable vocals.
The first song Meesala Pilla turned out to be a blockbuster and generated massive hype on this full length entertainer. While the trailer and much hyped Chiru-Venky song did evoke a decent response, the Hook Step has turned the tables in its favour. Credit to choreographer Aata Sandeep for bringing out the prime form of Chiru through this song.
With less than a week to go for a grand release, the response for Hook Step will now translate into strong buzz and result in much solid openings during the festival season which is crowded with a bunch of movies.
If the film manages to get positive reviews, Tollywood will witness a box office storm in the form of Chiranjeevi irrespective of hectic competition from other biggies.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film stars Nayantara as the female lead. It is slated for release on January 12th.
