Chiranjeevi’s MSG Inching Towards 200 Cr

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam became a massive blockbuster last year, appealing strongly to family audiences- a perfect fit for the Sankranti season. Director Anil Ravipudi once again delivered an out-and-out entertainer with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi in a vintage, humor-filled role and Victory Venkatesh in a special cameo.

MSG is emerging as the biggest blockbuster among this Sankranti releases and Chiranjeevi’s highest earner to date. The film posted remarkable business on its fourth day, capitalizing on the Sankranti holiday. Every theater displayed housefull boards despite extra shows, with Day 4 numbers matching Day 1, with 424.52K tickets sold on Thursday. It is inching toward the 200 Cr mark, with 190 Cr+ worldwide gross in 4 days.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is also nearing the $3 million milestone in North America. It is heading towards break-even mark in all areas.
