Big Films Failed But Small Films Saved!

Producer Anil Sunkara has seen both big success and heavy losses in his film career. Earlier, as a partner in 14 Reels Entertainment, he was part of major films like Dookudu and 1 Nenokkadine. At the same time, he also produced smaller films under his own banner AK Entertainments.

After stepping away from 14 Reels, Anil decided to focus fully on AK Entertainments. Over time, the banner moved from small films to big budget projects. Unfortunately, that decision proved costly.

Films like Mahasamudram, Agent, and Bhola Shankar were made with good expectations but failed badly at the box office. Together, these projects reportedly caused massive financial losses and put Anil under serious pressure.

Despite these setbacks, Anil did not quit the industry. Instead, he found hope in small and mid range films. Samajavaragamana turned out to be profitable, and even Majaka managed to recover costs due to controlled spending.

Now, Nari Nari Naduma Murari has given him a strong comeback. Made on a limited budget, the film entered the Sankranti season quietly but gained momentum through positive word of mouth. With rising collections, it is expected to deliver solid profits and restore Anil Sunkara’s confidence as a producer.
