Star Director's Desperate Appeal To Anti-Fans

Fan wars are getting uglier with each passing day and we usually notice fans of Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR and other star heroes waging intense wars especially during a film's release. The situation is no different in Tamil and even worse in most cases, where fans of Vijay and Ajith often lock horns in a bloody war of words.

The latest hero to fall prey to these fan wars is Suriya. The star hero's latest release Masss ran into an unexpected controversy. In the film, director Vikram Prabhu made Suriya mouth a few famous dialogues from the films of Vijay and Ajith. Even though Suriya and Vikram Prabhu did it for fun, fans of Vijay and Ajith didn't find it amusing and started an intense online war and even started tending several hate hash tags.

Soon after realizing the intensity, the director quickly responded and appealed to the heated fans and tweeted, "Guys!! Please stop this hatred!! At the end of the day we all one family!! entertainers!! So leave this hatred and start enjoying cinema!" Even though the hatred has cooked down with the director's clarification, the damage has been done. Masss, while ending up as a loss venture in Telugu, is heading to end up as an average project in Tamil.
