Another Dry Weekend at the Telugu Box Office?

The Telugu box office appears to be heading into yet another dry weekend, with recent releases struggling to make a strong impact. While Youth and Happy Raj managed to receive average to decent responses from audiences, the overall momentum remains underwhelming.

Harsh Roshan and Sridevi’s Band Melam, which had some initial buzz, has now been hit with negative talk, affecting its collections significantly. Meanwhile, Ustaad Bhagat Singh featuring Pawan Kalyan is almost washed out, failing to sustain interest beyond its opening days.

Among the current lineup, Dhurandhar 2 seems to be the only film showing some promise, managing to draw audiences and capitalize on the lack of strong competition. However, the rest of the releases are not sharing the same fate.

Suyodhana starring Priyadarshi is also heading toward flop status, as poor word of mouth continues to dominate conversations. The consistent lack of impactful releases has left fans and trade circles concerned about the current state of the box office.

With limited excitement surrounding ongoing films, audience turnout remains lukewarm across theatres. All eyes are now on the upcoming big releases, Biker, Dacoit and especially the huge one Peddi, expected to arrive this summer. Fans are eagerly waiting for a major hit that can revive the box office and bring back the much-needed energy to Telugu cinema.
