Of late, actress Trisha Krishnan has been in the news for her alleged relationship with actor-politician Vijay. Though their dating rumours have been circulating in the media for a while now, speculations intensified when Vijay’s wife reportedly filed for divorce.
Adding fuel to the fire, Vijay and Trisha attended a friend’s wedding together following the divorce reports. Despite the rumours getting stronger in the media, Trisha and Vijay remain tight-lipped about their relationship.
Meanwhile, noted Tamil actor Chitra Lakshmanan stated on his YouTube channel that Trisha has quit films. Responding to the same, Trisha shared a sarcastic story on Instagram, condemning it as false news. However, she didn’t address the main rumour that has been doing the rounds in the media for a long time.
Chitra Lakshmanan said that Trisha has retired from films and added that a few reliable producers confirmed the news to him. Soon, his statements went viral on social media, with people speculating that Trisha quitting films had something to do with her relationship with Vijay, who also quit films after entering active politics.
Trisha quashed Chitra Lakshmanan’s statements by writing, “Apparently, I’ve quit films, married a rich businessman, and I’m raising quadruplets who turned two yesterday! Anything else I should add, or did we cover today’s fiction quota?” Though she confirmed that she will not be leaving films, Trisha didn’t answer whether she is in a relationship with Vijay or not. It remains to be seen when they will respond to these reports.
