What Does RAAKA Mean? Poster Drops Big Hints!

Allu Arjun and Atlee‘s film has been titled ‘Raaka‘ and the team released the First Look Poster on the occasion of the Hero‘s Birthday today.

Allu Arjun is seen in a bald look and furred body. He holds his clawed hand over his face. Ever since Pre-Look Poster released, there were speculations if Allu Arjun will be playing a werewolf.

There is also an information that Allu Arjun is not playing a werewolf but the character is more like a Vanara of Kishkindhakanda.

In Ramayana, characters like Vali and Sugriva were having sharp, curved claws and they possess immense strength and ‘tree uprooting powers‘.

In the Pre-Look Poster, the clawed hand appears to be reaching the Moon. In Sanskrit, Raaka means Full Moon. In folklore, werewolves are known to be at the heights of their Powers on Full Moon Days.

If it happens to be Vanara, In many tribal legends, the full moon is the night when the “protector” of the forest emerges. Both the theories sound interesting.

Perhaps it’s a sci-fi take where a man’s DNA is altered, causing him to shift into a predatory, monkey-like creature during specific lunar cycles.

We should have got an idea if Atlee released a Video Content but he reserved it for another day to keep us guessing.
