Anil Ravipudi’s Master Plan For Ramayana

Director Anil Ravipudi is reportedly gearing up for an ambitious new venture, marking his entry into the world of animation with a film based on the epic Ramayana. As earlier reported by Gulte, the project has now gained momentum with several key developments falling into place.

Our sources reveal that Anil is preparing a detailed masterplan for his animation debut, aiming to present the epic in a fresh and engaging manner. He has brought on board Gowra Hari, known for his work in Mirai and Hanuman, to compose the music, and the composer has already begun working on the project.

On the technical front, Anil has assembled a dedicated animation team to kickstart the groundwork, indicating the scale and seriousness of the film. Interestingly, the director is said to be focusing on a crucial portion of the Ramayanam that has not been explored clearly on screen before.

Despite the magnitude of this project, Anil Ravipudi plans to develop it alongside his ongoing film with Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram. If executed well, this animation film could offer a unique cinematic take on the timeless epic.

Too many films are being made on the same subject, and since Anil is new to this side of filmmaking, it will be a huge task for him to handle. One will have to see how he manages it in the days to come. However, if he can showcase a particular part in a fresh, epic way, it could work wonders.
