Mangli & Director Venu Break Silence on Fraud Allegations

In a shocking turn of events, leading independent singer Mangli who is a big name in the Telugu YouTube circles has been booked in a financial scam case.

Going into the story, the Punjagutta Police have filed a case against singer Mangli aka Sathyavati and her brother after a complainant named Singapogu Subbarao complaint that they cheated him for Rs 10 crore.

Subbarao, who is an advocate himself by profession stated that singer Mangli and others had fraudulently lured him into investing in micro financing schemes to the extent of Rs 9.5 to 10 crore. He filed a complaint at the Punjagutta Police station, and the case has been registered.

However, the talented singer has refuted these speculations and stated that this is an attempt to assassinate her character. She further filed a complaint at the police station, saying original complainant. Subbarao had misbehaved with her and wanted to meet her multiple times. When she refused to do it, he filed this complaint to ruin her character, she says.

While so much is happening, director Venu Udugula’s name came up as a few misinformed reports labeled him as a culprit in the whole scenario. However, he quickly clarified that he has nothing to do with what is happening and expressed disappointment over the false allegations.

In the meanwhile, there are other media reports saying that singer Mangli is facing multiple counts of financial frauds amounting to potentially Rs 150 crore. There is no verified information on this, and we have to patiently wait for the investigation to unfold.
