Jagapathi Babu is coming up with a psychological thriller drama Vadhala, being directed by Akella V Krishna under Charitha Chitra Production banner. After sparking curiosity with an early glimpse, the team has now revealed a teaser.
The story revolves around Yogi, a devoted husband who views his wife as the core of his life. Their stable relationship faces disruption when a young girl in their circle becomes emotionally attached to Yogi, gradually developing an obsessive hold over him. Her fascination threatens the very stability of the couple’s life.
Jagapathi Babu plays a grounded role, portraying a warm, caring partner. Laya appears as his deeply affectionate wife, while Hrithika Srinivas enters the narrative with a character laced with grey undertones. Ravi Varma’s appearance in the teaser hints at additional layers yet to be revealed.
