Young hero Sumanth Prabhas’ rural-based entertainer Godari Gattupaina made a positive impression with its teaser and songs. Directed by debutant Subash Chandra, the film’s trailer has been released just a while ago.
Godari Gattupaina is a tale of three hearts. An auto driver, Raju, whose fondness for Maaya grows with every shared ride and stolen glance. Their affection gradually finds its rhythm. But the stakes rise as the hero must not only win the girl’s heart but also prove his worth to a man who values tradition and protection above all else.
Sumanth Prabhas slips into the role of a local Godavari youngster with ease, using his natural charm and native slang to bring the character alive. Nidhi Pradeep’s Maaya carries a gentle mix of grace and conviction, adding spark to their chemistry. Jagapathi Babu lends gravitas as the caring father. Comedians Sudarshan and Raj Kumar Kasireddy sprinkle the narrative with timely wit.
Director Subash Chandra’s storytelling leans on clean emotions, village flavour, and youthful vibrancy. Sai Santhosh’s cinematography presents the lush Godavari backdrop beautifully, and Naga Vamshi Krishna’s music blends smoothly with the film’s mood. Backed by Red Puppet Productions, the film stays visually neat and true to its rural setting.
The trailer signals a feel-good entertainer and sets good prospects for the movie.
