Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 has become a big hit at the box office. The film minted big bucks at the box office in its entire theatrical run. The fans are eagerly waiting for its OTT release to happen soon.
Interestingly, the OTT version is yet to get a release date, while Netflix releases the uncut version today. The indian fans want to watch the watch on OTT for which they have to wait until June 4th.
In the meantime, Jio Star has finally confirmed that the film will be released on June 4th, only which means only after the IPL grand finale is completed this year. Jio Star is witnessing huge viewership on account of IPL, which is no surprise. Reportedly, they do not want to divert the same to Dhurandhar 2 is what the netizens are saying.
Jio Star uploaded the product page, with IPL2026 final banner, confirming the date as 31st May 2026, and they are dropping Dhurandhar The Revenge after IPL on June 4. The fans are disappointed that the entire world is watching Raw and the uncensored version on Netflix while the Indian version will be released only after two weeks.
The rumours sepculating that Jio Star intentionally pushed the release of Dhurandhar 2 to next month only to give undivided attention to IPL and then divert them to Dhurandhar 2 later.
