Peddi Exclusive: Last 50 Min Will Be Emotionally Commercial!

Ahead of Peddi’s grand release on June 4, director Buchi Babu Sana sat down with Gulte’s Ram Venkat Srikar and shared several exciting details about the film. More than the scale and visuals, it was his comments about the emotional climax that instantly grabbed attention.

Buchi Babu revealed that the last 50 minutes of Peddi will be extremely emotional, shocking and deeply disturbing. He confidently stated that audiences will walk out of theatres with a heavy heart while also feeling they watched a truly memorable film.

The director explained that he always believes strong emotions should stay with audiences even after they leave theatres. According to him, commercial cinema becomes more powerful when pain, realism and emotional depth are blended naturally into the story.

That emotional storytelling approach already worked big time in Uppena. Buchi Babu spent years understanding characters and building emotional arcs before bringing them onto screen. He believes authenticity is what ultimately connects audiences with cinema.

Peddi too appears to follow the same route but on a much larger canvas. The promotional content released so far already hints at rooted characters, strong visuals and intense emotional conflicts set against a raw rural backdrop.

Interestingly, Buchi Babu also hinted that the film may leave audiences emotionally disturbed in a good way rather than offering a routine commercial high. If the final act lands as promised, Peddi could end up becoming one of the most emotionally impactful big scale Telugu films in recent times.
