Young hero Sumanth Prabhas is enjoying the decent success of his latest film, Godari Gattu Paina. Directed by a newcomer, Subhash Chandra, the film opened to a decent response along with mixed reviews.
Despite Sumanth making his re-entry to the big screen after three years, the audience showered him with a positive response. But, for his next film, Sumanth should not take three years again as it would make him irrelevant.
Sumanth Prabhas shot to fame online with his videos and reels. Later, he debuted as an actor and director with the film Mem Famous. The film performed decently at the box office amidst some negativity. However, Sumanth made a mark for himself with the film.
But, he took three years to come up with his second film, which is surprising. Even with a decent response, the film Godari Gattu Paina is slowly inching towards a revenue close to 10 Cr rupees. Even when the season is dry, he was able to manage secure numbers and this can not happen all the time.
Actors like Vijay Deverakonda, Vishwaksen, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and others also struggled in the film industry, doing small roles before getting their big break. Even these actors did back-to-back films in their early days just to stay relevant and let their market value grow over time.
Sumanth must also take inspiration from their career and regularly come up with films. If not, he will not stay relevant, and the audiences may not incline towards his films.
At the same time, Sumanth must focus on either acting or direction, but not both at this point, to earn a living in the industry; later, he can wear multiple hats.
