The Don 3 issue is no longer staying inside Bollywood circles. The matter has now officially reached FWICE after Farhan Akhtar reportedly filed a complaint against Ranveer Singh over his sudden exit from the film.
Ranveer was announced as the new Don with huge expectations. But things reportedly changed after creative disagreements and scheduling issues started creating tension between the actor and the makers especially after Dhurandhar’s unanimous success.
Bollywood media reports say Farhan is upset because extensive pre production work was already completed before Ranveer decided to walk away from the project. The film has now landed in complete uncertainty.
Interestingly, this issue has been dragging for months with several reports about compensation demands and legal discussions already doing rounds in Mumbai film circles. Rumours about replacing Ranveer also created massive buzz earlier.
FWICE is now expected to review the entire issue and announce its stand on Monday. With Don being one of Bollywood’s biggest action franchises, the industry is closely watching how this ugly fallout finally ends.
