Like never-before in Indian cinema, the Peddi Ki Aawaz event was conducted in a spectacular manner, and the turnout for the event was one lakh plus. The entire team cheered the audiences with their speeches. AR Rahman’s live concert was one of the biggest highlights, along with his music band, and singers.
While speaking at the event, Janhvi Kapoor called Peddi as a truly significant film. “Peddi speaks about the identity and purpose of youth of this generation. All of us have struggled at some point in search of that identity, and Peddi captures that beautifully. It is a meaningful film, and we have all worked very hard on it.
I had the opportunity to work with Ram Charan, and that will always remain a very special memory for me. Who isn’t a fan of Ram Charan? The honesty with which he lives his life is exactly what he reflects on the big screen. With integrity, humility, and sincerity, he approaches every character with precision.
I didn’t have many scenes with Divyenndu, but I truly enjoyed working with him. I’m also a big fan of Ravi Kishan, and his speech today inspired all of us.
This is my second film with AR Rahman. The last time, I called Buchi Babu Sana a ‘rowdy director.’ Now, I call him a very ‘cute director,’ because he gave me so much confidence throughout the shoot.
Ram Charan has an aura that reminds me of Gautama Buddha- serene, composed, and deeply calming. His presence on set is warm and reassuring, filling the space with positive energy. I was very anxious initially, but his patience and gentle guidance made me feel completely at ease.”
