Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is promoting the film, Peddi, all across the nation now. As part of the promotional events at multiple cities, the team Peddi is in Delhi today for the promotions. During the film’s promotions, Ram Charan shared that Prime Minister Modi once asked him, “What is this Peddi all about?”
When Ram Charan was in Delhi last time, reportedly, he met PM Modi. During their conversation, Modi casually enquired about Charan’s upcoming projects and evinced interest in knowing more about Peddi. It is then that Charan shared that Peddi is all about empowering villages, which is loosely based on the government’s Vikasith Bharath campaign.
During the same conversation, Modi shared with Charan about a village from which a football player called Mohammed emerged. Staying in a remote village near West Bengal, he emerged as a great sports player and today, 80+ people from the same village are reportedly playing the sport.
Charan also told Modi that Peddi is one among those who empower villages and brings a difference with his effort. “Peddi is that person who brings the difference in empowering more people,” Charan told.
The trailer of Peddi already showcased us that Charan will be seen playing multiple sports in the film. Now that Charan shared more insights, the film will also be carrying an underlying social message of empowering others.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi will have a grand pan-India release on June 4th.
