Lost Money On CM Vijay’s Film, But Got Govt Position?

Before the historical Tamil Nadu 2026 election, Thalapathy Vijay faced peculiar situation with regard to his cinema career as well. His Jana Nayagan film, which was supposed to release during the Pongal season, got postponed due to censorship delays.

The producer of the film KVN faced a significant financial issues due to the indefinite postponement of the film. Even to this day, there is no official update on the possible release date of this film, and that is a matter of great concern.

Incidentally, KVN, who had lost a significant amount of money on this project is now being rightly rewarded at government level by Vijay administration in Tamil Nadu.

According to the latest developments, Venkat K Narayanan has been appointed as the special representative for the Tamil Nadu government in Delhi and this is a cabinet ranking position. He will be holding this position for a period of up to one year or till the government decides to slash it earlier.

There might be a bit of backlash on social media regarding the appointment of this Karnataka oriented individual in the Tamil Nadu, government, but he backed Vijay during the Jana Nayagan controversy and is being rewarded for it.
