The makers of Rao Bahadur have unveiled an exciting glimpse into the film’s creative journey through the video called World Of Rao Bahadur, where the team shared their thoughts on the ambitious project.
Producer Anurag Reddy revealed how the collaboration with Venkatesh Maha began. He said he was eager to know what the acclaimed filmmaker who made C/O Kancharapalem was working on next. A simple message to Maha led to an unexpected surprise.
“I just happened to message Venkatesh Maha, and he said, he has a story. He had been wanting to make it for the past five years,” recalled Anurag.
What impressed him the most was the director’s unwavering passion and belief in the script. He described it as a story capable of resonating with audiences from every corner of the world, irrespective of language or culture.
Hero Satya Dev, equally amazed by the film’s vision, admitted that his first reaction was to wonder how someone could even imagine a world of this scale.
According to him, only someone obsessed with cinema could dream so fearlessly. Calling Venkatesh Maha a madman and a dreamer, he praised the filmmaker’s relentless pursuit of creating something extraordinary.
Satyadev further revealed that the team has built a massive cinematic world unlike anything audiences have witnessed before. He believes the visuals and scale of Rao Bahadur will offer a completely fresh experience that deserves to be watched on the big screen.
Director Venkatesh Maha explained that while the film presents a grand spectacle, its emotional core lies in the protagonist’s inner world. He shared that Rao Bahadur’s story and psychology became the foundation for creating a visually immersive experience. Maha emphasized that his dream is to take Telugu cinema to global audiences by telling stories that are both unique and timeless.
