King Nagarjuna is not someone who makes exaggerated statements whenever he or his sons’ films are slated for release. Whenever he is highly confident about a film’s success, he delivers the iconic statement, “Vasthunnam… Koduthunnam…”. He repeated this statement once again for his son Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming movie, Lenin.
Speaking at the pre-release event of Lenin last night, Nagarjuna said, “Ee prekshaka devullaki chebuthunnam ivala. July 10th vasthunnam… Manavaadu Koduthunnadu…”. Nag first used this statement during the release of Soggade Chinni Nayana. That film became a massive success at the box office.
Ever since, whenever he has used this statement for any other film, it has become a successful venture at the box office. Now, as Nag has repeated the statement for Lenin, Akkineni fans are jubilant and are waiting with bated breath to witness the film on the big screen.
