The success celebrations of Lenin turned into an emotional family moment at Annapurna Studios. While the team gathered to celebrate the film’s strong response, it was Akhil Akkineni’s heartfelt gesture towards his father Nagarjuna that stole the show.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Akhil touched Nagarjuna’s feet and sought his blessings before hugging him tightly. Unable to hold back his tears, Akhil broke down as Nagarjuna comforted him with a warm embrace.
The touching moment took place in front of the ANR statue. After the emotional exchange, Nagarjuna, Akhil, director Murali Kishor Abburu and producer Naga Vamsi cut the success cake along with the Lenin team.
The video has since gone viral on social media. Though Lenin opened to mixed reviews, most critics praised Akhil’s sincere performance and emotional effort in the film.
