The Akkineni family was going through one of its toughest phases at the box office. While Nagarjuna scored a decent hit with Kuberaa, his solo releases were not up to the mark. On the other hand, the younger generation of Akkineni heroes, Akhil and Naga Chaitanya, struggled to deliver major commercial successes.

This led to concerns among fans, who were eagerly waiting for the family to bounce back. The turnaround began early last year when Naga Chaitanya scored a solid success with Thandel. The film grossed Rs 100 crore and put the Chay’s career back on track.

Now, this year, Akhil Akkineni has followed it up with Lenin, which has emerged as a successful venture and given the young actor a much-needed breakthrough. The rural drama has landed in the safe zone and is attracting decent occupancy.

With both sons delivering hits, all eyes are now on the father, Nagarjuna, and his landmark 100th film, referred to as King100. Directed by Ra Karthik, the project has already generated curiosity among fans. However, not much is known about the film at this stage.

If King Nagarjuna delivers a big hit himself, it could mark the biggest comeback for the Akkineni family, creating a truly remarkable moment that Akkineni fans will cherish for years.
