Nolan Reveals Indian Cinema’s Biggest Miss On World Stage

Legendary Hollywood director Christopher Nolan has shared his thoughts on Indian Cinema and why Indian actors are not getting enough recognition globally despite their talent and experience.

During an interview, Nolan was asked whether Indian actors are underrepresented on the world stage. He agreed and said one of the main reasons is the way films were distributed in the past. Nolan said many industries worked separately and did not focus enough on reaching international audiences.

Nolan then spoke about SS Rajamouli’s RRR and how it became a major success in the United States. Nolan also added that the American market is huge, and if filmmakers promote their movies in the US, more people will notice Indian cinema.

Meanwhile, Nolan’s latest film, The Odyssey, has opened well in India. The response has been especially strong in the Telugu states, drawing good crowds in the A centers.
