Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya are playing the lead roles in the upcoming Telugu film titled Chennai Love Story. Directed by Ravi Namburi, the film is backed by Sai Rajesh and SKN. With Sai Rajesh backing the project and the feelers of his last hit, Baby, already out, there is already a unique buzz surrounding the film.
The team recently launched the theatrical trailer, which received a positive response, and everyone is confident that the film will do well at the box office. Although there are other films standing as a competition, Chennai Love Story still has the potential to do well.
Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu is hitting the screens this week as a surprise entry. Despite the film being the first release of the actor, right after he became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, the buzz surrounding the film is very minimal in Telugu. Especially, with the film already being a remake of Bhagvanth Kesari, the attention towards it is less. The Telugu version will be released, but will be limited.
We also have Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin currently running in theatres. The film already secured a hit talk, but it will not be a big hurdle for Chennai Love Story. Viewership is slowing down, and by the time new releases arrive, Lenin will still be in theatres, attracting fans. Hollywood film Odyssey is performing well too, but it will be limited to some screens and regions only.
With the film’s trailer already triggering some bold conversations on social media and catching the attention of youth, let us assume that the film gets a good opening. If the content can impress the viewers by gaining a good word of mouth, the film can become unstoppable.
